Yarrakatha Consultancy is a proudly Indigenous-owned, female-led Queensland business delivering services nationwide. We are passionate about cultural diversity, inclusion, and cultural safety, working closely with clients, communities, and individuals to create practical and effective workplace solutions.
With more than 90 years of combined expertise, we support organisations to meet their legislative obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld) and the Psychosocial Hazards Code of Practice. We help businesses identify and address risks such as bullying, harassment, discrimination, and other disrespectful behaviours—building safe, respectful, and high-performing workplaces.

Who we are
We are three Mitakoodi - Gangalidda sisters from North West Queensland and a lifelong friend, united by a shared vision to make the world a better place for all people. Our specialty skills have been shaped by life experiences, hands-on work, and the knowledge we have developed across diverse careers, including extensive experience in the resource sector across Queensland, New South Wales, the Northern Territory, and Western Australia.

Our Purpose is to strengthen culturally safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplaces while empowering Indigenous businesses and entrepreneurs through capability building, economic participation, and self-determination. We are committed to creating opportunities for Indigenous success, supporting sustainable business growth, and fostering thriving communities through culturally grounded practices and meaningful partnerships.
